Grey's Teas

How did your tea shop Grey Teas get started?

I had recently travelled to India and had done some work for a major tea manufacturer. I saw how poor the choice of tea was, even in England. An ancestor of mine was Earl Grey so that was intriguing too.

Where are you based?
Warwick, in the English midlands. There is a famous castle here too!

What is unique about your tea shop?
We sell only loose teas, we have over one hundred and we offer plenty of information to help customers choose.

Which of your product is your personal must-try? Chun Mee Moon Palace - a China green, rather more subtle than the famous Gunpowder. It's just lovely - it is difficult to stop drinking it!

Which are your top best-selling products?
Green Earl Grey, Japanese Sencha Fukujyu, China Green with Jasmine, Gunpowder and Green Darjeeling.

Is there anything else you want to say?
We were recently featured on BBC radio for St. George's day. What else do English people do but drink tea on our national day!

What is your URL?
