Side effects of green tea? Really? This article is utterly misleading to the vastly unintelligent and uninformed public. Why would you post anything remotely negative about the world's most beneficial substance?

I agree 100%

Green Tea is not like Green Tea. Why not first get informed and then learn how to prepare it? It is one of the best things in the world.

Edgy
by: Anonymous

Green tea makes me feel physically (not emotionally) edgy and tense. After I drink it, I clench my teeth and race around in the day time. One cup in the morning can interfere with my sleep. Black tea doesn't have the same effect. Everyone is different!

AGREED This is a junk article about side effects.
by: Science Wiener

The "reference" for the article is a non-existent Medline article (info from the NIH, National Institutes of Health). Try to go to the URL of the article. Then when you get Medline's "sorry, this page does not exist", use their search engine and search Green Tea. What you'll get is a plethora of REAL articles that dispute practically every point of the "WARNINGS". Please folks, just because it's on the internet, doesn't make it true.

No clinical evidences of side effects
by: abey.snet51@yahoo.com

Most people I know take 5-10 cups of tea daily but none of them have any side effect mentioned in this article. I you take a gallon at once it might. This is a joke.

If you have gastritis don?t take tea without medical advice.

If you have sleeping problems don?t take tea in night.

What Side Effects?
by: Babsie

I have been drinking Green Tea mixed with other things like Berries, mint,Jasmine etc, etc, and have not noticed any side effects whatsoever!

A friend of mine recommendedit after losing quite a lot of weight over twelve months, also no side effects, so maybe it is only people who already have health problems that should not take it??

It does not worry me in the slightist!!

Ask a doctor about it if you don't believe
by: Anonymous

Not everything is healthy, I love green tea, but recently I was advised by a doctor not to drink green tea, I couldn't believe it but now I did some research and ask other doctors. This post is 100% true.

This article sounds more like Microsoft FUD.

Ridiculous writeup really. It's far less dangerous than COKE/PEPSI crap.

This article probably saved my life
by: Anonymous

Hello,

I have been taking Green tea religiously since January 2015, and I have experience almost all the symptoms that are highlighted here.

I'm at home on sick off, flashing off the new problems resulting from my desire to "be healthy"

Just because you haven't experience it does not mean its not true. To all new drinkers, please take precaution.

Tried and true
by: Anonymous

I have been drinking green tea for over a decades now. I love the benefits of it, as it has helped me overcome seasonal allergies, yes! Seasonal allergies. It has helped me with weight loss, to prevent binge eating, gives me an added boost through my day and it just tastes great. BUT...There are some minimal side effects that I've suffered from taking it either at the wrong time of the month, or day. If I take it early in the morning, in a fasted state. I will for certain throw up maybe because of all the acid it forms in my stomach? If I take capsules at any time, it makes me jittery and nauseous through the day. I may be getting rashes from it, but it's just a guess at the time, I still haven't figured out the cause of my skin hives. Overall though, I have benefited and find green tea useful as an antioxidant, I never get ill and believe it's because it aids my immune system. The amount, quality and timing is key when drinking tea. Too much of a good thing could be bad.
