Zakaria, as you might know green tea is a traditional drink in East Asia - chiefly China, Japan and Korea. In this part of the world, we don't add sugar.

This is because the green tea consumed is high quality and is not bitter. It has a mild taste that is slightly sweet. They are not made from mature tea leaves (or chopped leaves if you are drinking tea bags) but made from young tea buds i.e. baby buds that haven't even opened up.

If you must something sweet, I would suggest honey as it is easier for the body to digest and has much less side effects.

There is a couple of green tea I sell in the tea shop that provides good value of money and is not bitter. Please contact me if you need more info.
