Green Tea Reduce Height?

by Aaron
(Malaysia)

Hello, I am Aaron aged 19. I drink green tea for my health as well as to keep slim. But past few months, I have been decreasing my intake of green tea cause I heard from some people saying that green tea inhibits height growth. Can I ask you whether this is true?

Answer:

Aaron, green tea is a slimming beverage It does affect dietary absorption of fat and protein.

For most adults, this is usually a good thing.

But for a child or young adult still growing very rapidly, it may not be so useful.

There is no evidence that when consumed in moderation it can reduce height.

Hope this helps.
