Solving Problems Every Tea Drinker Faces

25 November 2012 Issue #55:

>> Seven Oolong Tea Health Benefits, and New Autumn Arrivals!

Long time readers of this newsletter would have known that I am a big supporter of a "cautious" approach to drinking tea. There are three parts to my mantra:

One: Drink the highest quality tea for maximum potency.

Two: Drink 3-6 cups of tea daily, or few times weekly. If you are drinking quality, you need not quantity.

Three: Diversify your tea intake. Vary according to your body conditions and seasonality.

While the least oxidized teas (such as white and green teas) are indeed the healthiest, as they contain the highest concentration of antioxidants, it is always a good idea to drink more of the darker, more oxidized teas as the season turns colder and darker.

As the following article explained, green tea is for spring, white tea is for summer, oolong is for autumn, while red/black tea is for winter.

Chinese Tea and Health - Balancing the Four Seasons

Between the four different types of teas mentioned above, oolong tea is the most complex. While often described as semi-oxidized, it can range from lightly to heavily oxidized. The varieties are staggering.

(The former will correspond to our Jade/Amber, whereas latter our Aged and Roasted.)

Click on the links below to discover the 7 health benefits of oolong tea, and, why like all other high quality teas, it is also a great weight loss beverage.

Tieguanyin King Oolong Tea
Widely known as the Champagne of tea, the Tieguanyin (also known as the Iron Goddess) exemplifies a good oolong for its intense aroma and long durability.

(Yes, a high grade can last 9 infusions!)

The autumnal harvest is the most aromatic of all, and finally - all our 10 grades have arrived!

As you might already know, we don't sell cheap oolong. We only sell Tieguanyin King, tea plants that grow in the mountain ranges of Anxi County of 1,000 meters and above.

At the lowest end, our Amber AA grade starts at only $10 per packet, damned good for the price.

At the highest end, the five King Grades Sampler are exquisite and perfumed, rare for its quality.

And if you like roasted tea, the Aged 6 years are impossibly crafted, balancing high aroma with deep roasted flavors.

I hope this helps? Any thoughts on this matter? Reply to this email! Alternatively, you can leave a message in our Facebook page. We can discuss things further - over a cup of tea?
