Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water For Making Tea

Is it good to use reverse osmosis water for making tea?

My choice would be that, use tapwater which is not preferable as there are many contaminants, or purchase bottled water which again I don't believe is preferable. Thank you for your answer.

It has been said that the best water for drinking the green tea will be the spring water that comes from the same mountain.

Hope that give you some clues?

Reverse osmosis water does not contain minerals and is not recommended. It will make the tea tastes very flat.

If your tap water is contaminated or too hard, then your best bet is a bottle of spring water or mineral water. It mustn't be too hard or devoid of minerals, ideally between 10 to 100 milligrams per litre.

There is whole lots of discussion on this topic, please feel free to scan through!
