How did your tea shop get started?

It is Seattle's first teahouse! We opened in 1990 in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood.

We are based in Seattle, but also sell all of our teas and some merchandise online at www.TeaHouseKuanYin.com

What is unique about your tea shop?

We have wonderful teas from around the world! And, we have wonderful customers who love our teas.

Which of your product is your personal must-try?

Of our oolongs the Ah Li Shan Winter Spring is a teahouse favorite. Lately we also all love Bi Lo Chun, a great green tea. Royal Yunnan is also a great black tea favorite among many of the staff and customers. One customer even wrote a book while drinking Yunnan Tea in our Teahouse!

Which are your top best-selling products?

Many of our black teas, Jasmine Pearl, our house blend Earl Grey and our Pink Chai.
