Tea for Anemics - Can Citrus Fruits Help?

Since the harmful effects of tannin on anemics are being uncovered, is it still possible for anemics to try to brew their tea with oranges or citrus rich substances?

Since tea cuts the calcium intake, it will also cut the iron inhibition. The citrus fruit may be able to counter. Any thoughts?
