Lemon in Tea Reduces Problems of Iron Absorption

I have counseled pregnant women for years to avoid tea with their meals, and instead to drink tea between meals, especially if they are anemic.

I have heard that adding lemon to tea reduces the effect of tea on iron absorption, but haven't found the research reference - please tell me your source for this info.
