Green Tea and Drug Test for Pot - Make You Fail?

Julian, we are just wondering if drinking green tea can make you fail a drug test for pot. We were talking about it in class yesterday.

Answer:

Jason, absolutely not! The main ingredients of green tea are catechins (antioxidants!), theanine (relaxant) and caffeine (like those in your coffee). They are very different from marijuana.

What make you think drinking green tea can make you fail drug test? It is an interesting question, although one I hardly expect.

I wondered because I couldn't 'go' enough for the pre employment drug test, so I got up real early (2am) and drank water so I didnt have to sit AND wait for hours to go.

But, I couldn't wait, so I read green tea and fennel are natural diruetics and made some.

Drank abunch before apt. so I could go. Just got to wondering if that would throw off test. Been waiting 2 months for this position to come through.
