What do scientific studies say about which is the best green tea to drink? Are you ready for some surprising answers?

In this article, I will explore this subject from four angles:

- The 2007 USDA study compares nearly 400 kinds for their flavonoid content.

- The 2003 study published in Nutrition And Cancer entitled "Catechins Content of 18 Teas" compared various tea bags from various brands.

- Another tea bag study published in the July/August 2006 issue of Men's Health.

- And finally, a 2004 study conducted by the UK Institute of Food Research found that the Dragon Well tea is of the highest quality.

Enjoy the read.

For beginners, I will recommend the 4-in-1 Samplers package, which contain 4 grades of green tea from my partner HQ's tea garden. His tea garden caters the Chinese White House, so you can be absolutely sure of the quality.

INTOXICATING WHITE TEA ON OFFER!

Another new launch, this AAA grade Silver Needle white tea consists purely of tea buds harvested early in the season.

It is unblended, unflavored and undiluted. It boosts a fragrant grapelike favor that makes it looks and taste like white wine. I am well won over, would you be?

This Pre-Launch offer will end 30 June 2009.

MONKEY CHIEF GREEN TEA FINALLY LAUNCHED!

Unlike the Dragon Well tea, which is roasted, the Monkey green tea (Taiping Houkui) is baked. This gives it a mesmerizing orchid fragrance. Here is the first feedback I received from my customer Ian from Czech:

====
The Jipin Monkey King maybe my favorite green tea. This tea blows them out of the water, especially when opening the bag (freshness has a lot to do with this as well, as when I bought it first it came in a paper bag!), I'm very satisfied. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

There is something missing for it to be a full 5, but I can't put my finger on it, it could quite easily be the water I'm using (dead filtered tap water).

The leaves are a mix of medium and long, the longest being about 9cm, but I am slightly surprised by their appearance, I think I expected the individual leaves to be long, but the overall length includes some stalk.

This has no apparent detrimental affect on flavor.

2008 AUTUMN IRON GODDESS TEA

Iron Goddess tea is China's most popular and fragrant oolong tea, and my friend Shen has possibly the best tea farm in Anxi county.

For 2009, we have decided to stick with the autumn harvest as again they have shown to be of higher quality.

Our close connections to Shen have enable us to introduce three combination package showcasing 9 stunning varieties.

- 4 King grades including one gold and silver medallist in the recent 2008 Shenyang Tea Exposition Fair. Three of the King grades are newly launched. This one is strictly for the experienced drinkers who are not afraid of the subtleties of high grades.

- 3 grades of Jade oolongs of Jipin/AAA and AA grades of varying degrees of oxidation. All threes have previously been sold through my site. If you like highly fragrant green oolongs, you won't be disappointed.

- 2 grades of roasted oolongs which have been aged for 2 to 5 years. I love the AAA grade to pieces, the after-feeling is absolutely fantastic. These are excellent beverage for the winter, but you might as well take advantage of the Offer now.
