>>The Quest for Healthiest Green Tea (Triple Offers To End 31 January)

=====================================================

From time to time, I get emails from site visitors asking me which is the healthiest green to drink.

They will ask:

"Julian, would you recommend a green tea to drink for maximum weight loss and antioxidants?"

And I will answer:

"Lisa, the best green tea for everybody will be different. It really is a matter of your budget and taste."

"Broadly speaking, I will avoid processed green tea such as energy drink, instant green tea, and even tea powder (such as lower quality matcha due to caffeine) and tea bag."

"I will go for a loose-leaf, and specially one that is very high in antioxidants, with optimal balance of theanine and caffeine, as these compounds are responsible for most of green tea weight loss and health benefits."

"I will go for pristine tea buds harvested in spring, preferably from a single-harvest tea farm, as research and studies have found these tea buds to have the highest concentration of antioxidants, theaine and caffeine."

" In fact, for thousands of years in China, tea buds are prized as the highest quality tea. Most tea farms will go as far as only producing tea buds for 8 weeks a year in spring, and nothing else."

"They can also be infused three times. So 2-3 grams can make you 3 cups of tea, which can be very economical."

"All of my green, white and yellow teas will fit the above descriptions. However, which you buy will depend on your personal preference."

"For example, my highest quality/priced green tea is the Tribute Longjing, which also serves the Chinese White House."

"However, for most people, due to the relatively high prices, this is a tea for special occasions. Also, the flavors are very light and subtle, albeit once you get it it can be aromatic and multilayered. If you are a coffee drinker and prefer strong taste, you should go for something else."

Triple Offers

So here are my three recommendations for 2015 AND for a limited period of time until 31 January, we will be offering 15% discount on them!

- Anji Baicha AAA Grade (50-gram packet)

Probably my healthiest green tea in stock now, Anji Baicha contains at least 6-8% of amino acids, of which at least 2.5% is theanine, roughly 3-4 times the levels found in other Chinese green teas.

Archana from Bonham recently feedback:

"The Anji is definitely for those who appreciate subtlety in taste yet tremendous power in effect on energy and mood, particularly for meditation."

Jack from London:

"I have been buying green tea from you for a while. I must my latest order has blown me away. The Anji Baicha is simply out of this world. Stunning taste. I would give it 5/5 no question. I'd say its better than the 2013 crop IMO."

- Zhejiang Biluochun AAA Grade (50-gram packet) (NOT available for 350-gram packets)

The second most popular green tea is China, this Zhejiang Biluochun is high quality and attractively priced for everyday drinking. The tea buds are tiny, extremely fine and they make a concentrated brew.

Les from Exeter commented:

"What a kick to the start to the day. It's true they say, "you only get what you pay for". Such good quality, so refreshing. marvellous."

Daniel from New York:

"I bought these teas as a gift for a friend. As usual, they are awesome. Of course. I can't find anything as fresh as what you are selling here in the US and your prices are reasonable. I am really enjoying the Bilouchun, that I bought in early summer. Would rate it a 5."

- Xinyang Maojian AA Grade (50-gram packet)

A more recent launch, this AA graded Maojian is full bodied and perfect if you prefer your green tea to have a stronger taste.

Due to her strong aroma and mouthfeel, you only need to infuse a small quantity each time. Also, she is renown for her long durability, this means you can infuse her for up to 3 to 5 times.
